ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification

Following the re-appraisal of our Quality Management System on 2nd April 2009, Adept Scientific plc achieved accreditation to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The company has been ISO 9000 certified since 15th May 2000.

ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management system which identifies and monitors the processes we adhere to. This management system has been put in place to monitor, measure and analyse the processes we use, and ensure we implement the actions required to achieve our planned results and the continuous improvement of our processes.

The Certification recognises that we have systems in place to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Internal audits every three months and regulatory audits every six months ensure that we continue to maintain and improve our standards, to the benefit of our customers, suppliers and employees and the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Company.

Our staff must:

• Understand the importance of their tasks in meeting company objectives and customer requirements
• Be aware of the specification of the product that is a result of their task
• Achieve the required product specification
• Contribute to the development and improvement of work processes and the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 management system

This Quality Policy and associated quality objectives are established and reviewed within each management review meeting, and are communicated and understood by all levels of our organisation - for its continuing suitability and effectiveness in achieving the aims of this Quality policy.
